The accredited laboratories of Eurofins Milieu offer in the Netherlands an extensive package of chemical, physical, and biological analyses in all environmental matrices. Eurofins is a market leader in the field of specialist research. Under the banner of Eurofins Milieu, the package has been expanded with chemical analyses in various oil matrices to check the quality of both the oil and the machine, Oil Condition Monitoring (OCM). These are carried out by Eurofins IESPM, in the large specialized laboratories in Lyon and Verneuil. IESPM supports its customers daily in monitoring all types of equipment using these analyses. With this service, it is anticipated that breakdowns will be prevented, the lifespan of equipment will be extended, and monitoring programs will be optimized. The analyses are carried out for a very wide range of clients; among others, transport, energy, consulting firms, and the industrial sector make use of these services.

Function description

We are looking for the pivotal role between our clients and our company. In this pivotal role, you are the face and the voice of our clients. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer OCM immediately.

What will you do as a Mechanical Engineer OCM:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you are the link between our clients, the account managers, the various laboratories, and our own transport service. You are the indispensable link between the different customer segments and the laboratory services we provide. As a Mechanical Engineer, you are continuously engaged in advising and relieving the client with regard to the mechanical installations (machines and equipment). This is done, among other things, by mapping the (implicit and explicit) customer wishes, assessing laboratory results and, on the basis of this, advising the customer on the next steps in the maintenance of the mechanical installations.

In addition, you will jointly map the OCM market with the management team and the account managers and increase Eurofins' market share.

In short: you are the face and the voice of Eurofins for the client.

Function requirements

Completed technical higher professional education or university degree in mechanical engineering

Experience in the field of mechanical installations

Familiarity with various industrial machines and a strong interest in this subject matter

Customer-, service-, and goal-oriented, communicates concretely, clearly, and can listen well

Flexible, stress-resistant, solution-oriented and has the ability to quickly switch and adapt

Enjoys a position with a lot of freedom and responsibility in a dynamic work environment

Able to maintain focus and think professionally with your client

Excellent command of the Dutch and English (French is a plus)
