Job Description

• Supports can be CAD files extractions, archiving, analysis, documentation, part number creation
• Build prototype(s) from drawing OR no-drawing
• Work with 3D printing for concept models, prototypes
• Perform lab testing of mechanical parts with Equipment’s (Laser, Patient Interface, test fixtures, etc)
• External prototype parts qualifications, includes precision measurements
• Write test procedures and assembly instructions as needed
• Generate test reports
• Maintain device history documentation (DHR) and design history documentation (DHF)
• CAD tools: SolidWorks, CREO Auto CAD & GD&T
• Design and development for Test setup, Tooling, Production, and Quality.
• Participate in the concept of molds, gauges, fixtures, ceramic trays (for furnace sample loading), and packing trays (for products with special requirements).
• Lead the team in developing and validating the production line in alignment with customer design requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews of manufacturing and inspection processes and provide approvals for mass production.
• Prepare Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation and manufacturing documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
• FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
