Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
• Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
• Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
• Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams
• Generate budgets
• Interface with vendors
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Solidworks.
• Develop, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing and purchasing
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, manufacturing, and machine shop to support machine builds and resolve design issues

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
• Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
• Familiarity with CAD or other related software Solidworks a must
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Experience in conveyor design
• Experience in heating/cooling systems
