The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer (Handover) to support the delivery of a complex M&E package within a nuclear setting near Reading. This site-based role offers the chance to contribute to a major infrastructure project, working closely with design and construction teams to ensure technical excellence and compliance.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles Mechanical Site Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Mechanical Inspector, Handover Engineer, Asset Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Field Engineer, or Technical Coordinator.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Verifying and documenting installed mechanical equipment for asset registers and O&M manuals.
Conducting site inspections to confirm alignment with technical specifications and standards.
Collaborating with design teams to ensure practical and compliant engineering solutions.
Reviewing subcontractor drawings and documents to ensure they meet project requirements.
Managing technical queries and supporting project delivery through effective communication with stakeholders.You will have the following qualifications and experience
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant mechanical discipline.
Valid CSCS card.
Prior experience in a similar mechanical engineering role within a regulated industry.
Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and quality standards in site-based environments.Get in touch now
