A Tulsa-area fabrication company is seeking a Quoter / Mechanical Project Engineer. This is a single position that may be filled at either the Mechanical Engineer level or Estimator/Quoting level depending on experience and education.This role supports engineering, estimating, and quotation preparation for fabricated products. Candidates must have experience within the fabrication industry and working knowledge of pipe, flanges, fittings, valves, and related components.
Mechanical Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering calculations and technical evaluations
• Review customer specifications and project requirements
• Check and review engineering drawings
• Assist with preparation of Bills of Material (BOM)
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and formal price quotations
• Analyze customer needs and translate specifications into accurate pricing
• Coordinate with vendors and outside service providers for material and service pricing

Estimator / Quoting Assistant Responsibilities:

• Prepare Bills of Material (BOM)
• Develop detailed cost estimates and price quotes
• Review customer specifications and project requirements
• Obtain pricing from material vendors and subcontractors
• Assist with documentation and quotation preparation

Requirements:

• Experience in the fabrication industry required
• Working knowledge of pipe, flanges, fittings, valves, and related components
• Ability to interpret specifications and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and cost accuracy
• Proficiency with Excel and estimating systems
• Mechanical Engineering degree required for Engineer-level consideration
