Job Description
Job Title: Intermediate/Senior Mechanical Engineer - 12 Month Contract or Permanent\n\nLocation: Mostly remote (occasional travel to London)\nContract Rate: £45-£53 per hour outside IR35 or \nPermanent Salary: £50-£60k\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on innovative engineering solutions in the water and environmental sector. This role offers the flexibility of primarily remote work, with occasional visits to the London office, and provides the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, develop, and optimise mechanical systems and components.\nPrepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.\nWork closely with project teams to deliver solutions from concept through to installation and commissioning.\nSupport project planning, risk assessment, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.\nEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices. \n\nRequirements:\n\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\nProven experience in a similar intermediate to senior engineering role.\nStrong knowledge of mechanical design principles, CAD software, and mechanical systems.\nExperience working on projects in the water, environmental, or industrial sector is a plus.\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
