Mechanical Engineer - Defense

Are you an experienced Mechancial Engineer with a background in Commercial / Defence projects?



Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with an industry leading construction and infrastructure business, who are currently on the lookout for a Mechancial Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. As a Mechancial Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across various Ministry of Defence sites.

What are we looking for?



* Prior experience as a Mechancial Engineer, ideally within a commerical or defence project.



* A pro-active and efficient way of working either on your own or as part of a team.



* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations



* A full UK's driving licence.



Key Responsibilities:



* Perform plumbing tasks including installation, repairs and general upkeep.



* Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical systems and plant equipment.



* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety & statutory requirements.



* Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
