We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to develop comprehensive mechanical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection, and energy conservation, along with experience in engineering investigations and facility assessments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mechanical drawings and specifications for building systems.
  • Design and optimize HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Perform engineering investigations and facility assessments to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct economic analyses of alternate HVAC systems and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical, BIM, renewable energy, and energy conservation solutions into projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and REVIT software to produce high-quality design documents.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, including LEED certification and energy auditing principles.
  • Occasionally travel for project-related activities, typically for durations of no longer than one week.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License .
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with REVIT is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and practices.
  • LEED Certification or Certified Energy Auditor/Manager credentials are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
