Job Description

Mechanical Engineer (Building Services\n\nLocation: London\nDuration: 3-6 Month Contract\nRate: £450-£500 per day\nStart: ASAP\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to support a busy engineering team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical design experience and a working understanding of Revit (2D & 3D) to support coordination and interface with other disciplines.\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\nContribute to the design and development of mechanical components, systems, and assemblies.\n\nReview and interpret Revit (2D & 3D) models and drawings for coordination purposes.\n\nInterface with BIM teams and understand Revit workflows.\n\nSupport design reviews, prototyping, testing, and design validation activities.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, R&D, and quality.\n\nAssist with technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nDegree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.\n\nProven mechanical design experience.\n\nWorking knowledge of Revit (2D & 3D) to understand model/drawing intent and coordinate design activities (not for production).\n\nStrong understanding of mechanical principles, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes.\n\nHigh attention to detail with the ability to work independently.\n\nFor more information please contact Mitchell Rogers on (phone number removed).\n\n--- Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of , gender, , belief, , sexuality or .
