Essential Job Functions:
- New product design %25
- New product prototyping and testing %25
- Design analysis {CFD, FEA, and Hand Calculations) %25
- Support existing products determining failure modes and developing improvements. %15
- Existing product improvements and customizations %10
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (sheet metal, weldments. and multibody parts) Experience with Computational Flow Dynamics (SolidWorks CFD is a plus) Experience with Finite element analysis (SolidWorks FEA is a plus)
- Experience with design automation (Top-down design, Drive Works. design tables. etc.) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
- Previous experience in equipment manufacturing and/or electrical controls is a plus
- Education Required: BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years' work experience .
