PURPOSE
This position will specialize in project design and documentation for design build construction project types. Maintain and grow the “Customer for Life” concept for existing and new customers. Performs related work as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Design and layout clear, complete, and accurate construction documents
- Sound knowledge of engineering principals and application
- Interact daily with design build team and clients toward project success
- Accurate daily time and equipment reporting
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- 4 year Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical ) or higher education
- 5 years of engineering experience (field engineering )
- Design/Build project experience
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- AutoCAD and/ or Revit experience is desired
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Professional Engineer license
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Good team-working, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Innovative/creative approach for new ideas
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work to meet project deadlines
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of time
