MECHANICAL ENGINEER

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 15 years of mechanical maintenance experience in the oil and gas (onshore/offshore) or refinery or petrochemical chemical Industry.
  • Experience in planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, turnarounds, and shutdowns. 
  • Hands-on experience with static equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipelines, and storage tanks.
  • Extensive knowledge of rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.
  • Experience conducting and supervising inspections using NDT techniques (e.g., UT, RT, PT).
  • Familiarity with condition-based monitoring techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
  • Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for:
    • Planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.
    • Managing equipment history and work orders.
    • Analyzing maintenance data to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Proven ability to manage mechanical maintenance projects, including equipment overhauls and modifications.
  • Experience in reviewing engineering designs and specifications for compliance with standards.
  • Deep understanding of HSE regulations and industry standards (API, ASME, ISO).
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and participating in safety audits and incident investigations.
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred.
