An established and forward-thinking building services design consultancy is looking to appoint a Mechanical Engineer to its Manchester office. The practice is recognised for delivering creative and sustainable design solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects in the UK.



This opportunity would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in building services and proven experience using Hevacomp and Revit.

£45,000 – £55,000 salary

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible working available



Duties



Designing and delivering mechanical building services systems including HVAC and public health



Producing detailed drawings, models, and specifications using Hevacomp and Revit



Attending meetings and supporting business development through client network growth



Coordinating with other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions



Carrying out site visits, surveys, and inspections



Assisting with the mentoring of junior engineers within the team



Requirements



Background in mechanical building services design engineering



Strong experience using Revit, AutoCAD, and Hevacomp



Effective communicator with proven experience attending meetings and liaising with clients



Ability to contribute to business development and strengthen client networks



Understanding of sustainable design, renewable technologies, and building regulations



Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
