 Mechanical Drafter

Responsibilities:

• Prepare drawings to be released into ECO tool to prepare for next phase of development  
• Create durable component drawings; mix of off-the-shelf & custom components (Plastic Injection Molding, Die casting, Metal Injection Molding etc.)
• Apply standard notes to drawings received
• Work closely with team members to run pre-approvals of the documents
• Work closely with doc control to pull ECO numbers, enter parts into ECO tool and get drawings approved
• Prioritize parts and organize the documents

 
Requirements:

• Experience in a medical or documentation heavy environment
• Proficient in Solidworks skills, at least 2 years experience
• Attention to detail
• Time management/organization
• Good with feedback
• Efficient written and verbal communication with all disciplines and levels of employee
