Contract to Hire opportunity with a very stable organization

Mechanical Designer/ Engineer to work in the Engineering Department.
Will be performing a variety of design/drafting activities group including preparing/updating installation drawings for projects, preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings and doing stress analysis. 

1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES
3. Prepare 3 dimensional drawings, installation drawings and illustration drawings (logo/header submittals).
4. Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with sales and production office to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
5. Works with engineering and manufacturing on production which meet and exceed the customer’s requirements.
6. Conduct stress analysis, FEA experience
7. REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
9. Bachelor's degree in MET. 
10. Experience using Inventor or Solidworks or other 3D design software. 
11. Exposure to AutoCAD 2D
12. Familiar with FEA and stress analysis.
