Key Requirements:

• This position requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) and experience in project engineering for custom-engineered and fabricated equipment, particularly pressure vessels and shell & tube heat exchangers.
• Proficiency in ASME Section VIII & IX codes
• Experience with thermal and mechanical design
• Familiarity with CAD software and tools like PV Elite, CodeCalc, Compress, RCS
• Strong foundation in mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, hydraulics, and materials
• Ability to create and review technical specs, BOMs, drawings, and cost analyses
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and mentor engineering staff
• Demonstrated creativity, innovation, and initiative
• Proven track record of collaboration across teams and departments
• Review customer requirements and ensure the design meets technical, schedule, and budget goals
• Perform and validate design calculations, ensure compliance with codes and company standards
• Collaborate with vendors, operations, and welding engineers for manufacturability and fabrication
• Track and report project KPIs, risks, and status updates
• Drive continuous improvement, employee development, and cross-functional collaboration

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday, weekends may be required on as-needed basis
• 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Duration:

• Temporary to Permanent
