Our client is a well-established equipment manufacturer based in the Witney, Oxfordshire area. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an enethusiastic Mechanical Design Enginere to join the team.This is an an exciting opportunity for a R&D Design Engineer to join the Engineering team. The role reports to R&D manager and works closely with all teams across the business.Mechanical Design Engineer Position OverviewThe R&D Design Engineer will work within the engineering team on existing and new R&D projects, and being responsible for:Designing of new and redesign of existing productsInitial Build and Test of products throughout the design processReporting of test results with conclusions and proposed next stepsProducing bills of materials for productsWorking closely with other members of the Engineering team to ensure objectives are met.Mechanical Design Engineer Position RequirementsDegree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering or Design related subjectExperience of 3D CAD software, Preferably Autodesk InventorExperience of working with product developmentAbility to read engineering drawings and experience of product testingAbility to use own initiativeBased in a commutable distance of Witney, OxfordshireGood project management, organisation and communication skills, coupled with a flexible and cooperative approach.Mechanical Design Engineer Position RemunerationCompetitive Salary37.5 hour working week.
