Job Title: CATIA SIM / MODSIM Engineer

Job Summary

\n

Cognizant is seeking a CATIA SIM / MODSIM Engineer with strong hands-on experience in CATIA and MODSIM environments. The ideal candidate will support engineering and product development activities through 3D modeling, simulation, design analysis, and digital engineering workflows.

\n

The candidate should have strong experience working with CATIA MODSIM and be comfortable collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Develop, modify, and maintain engineering models using CATIA and MODSIM.
  • \n

  • Support 3D modeling, simulation, and digital engineering activities.
  • \n

  • Create and update CATIA models based on engineering requirements and design specifications.
  • \n

  • Perform design modifications and support engineering change activities.
  • \n

  • Work with engineering teams to understand design and simulation requirements.
  • \n

  • Support model validation and ensure accuracy and quality of engineering data.
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot CATIA/MODSIM modeling and simulation issues.
  • \n

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • \n

  • Maintain appropriate engineering documentation and modeling standards.
  • \n

  • Support continuous improvement of CAD/CAE and digital engineering processes.
  • \n

  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and project meetings.
  • \n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Strong hands-on experience with CATIA.
  • \n

  • Experience with CATIA MODSIM.
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of 3D CAD modeling and engineering design concepts.
  • \n

  • Experience supporting engineering modeling and simulation activities.
  • \n

  • Ability to interpret engineering requirements, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • \n

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • \n

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote engineering environment.
  • \n

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
  • \n

Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering environments.
  • \n

  • Experience with large-scale engineering organizations.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of CAD/CAE integration and digital engineering workflows.
  • \n

  • Experience working with engineering change management processes.
  • \n

  • Experience with additional Dassault Systèmes tools is a plus.
  • \n
