Mechanical Design Engineer\n\n12 month contract\n\nBased in Stevenage\n\nOffering £50ph Inside IR35\n\nDo you have experience using CREO?\n\nDo you have experience carrying out mechanical design and proving activities?\n\nDo you want to work with an industry-leading company?\n\nIf your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!\n\nAs the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. \n\nYou will be involved in:\n\nCarry out Mechanical Design and proving activities as part of a wider team for prime and variant products, of both piece parts and assemblies\nSupport/liaise with manufacturing, resolving manufacturing problems & defects\nSupport the functional & environmental testing and trials\nLiaise with suppliers/purchasing to resolve any technical queries that may arise\nPlanning and reporting on own day-to-day activities to meet project milestones\nGain clarification of and help to generate requirements \n\nYour skillset may include:\n\nExperience using CREO 3D design tool\nKnowledge of several of the following:\nManufacturing processes\nTolerance studies\nEnvironmental test\nMass property calculations\nMaterial selection\nFMEA\nDesign for Manufacture/Assembly\nEnvironmental Gasket Sealing\nStructural design\nDefence Standards\nReview processes\nProduct Lifecycles\nIndustrial validation \n\nIf this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further!\n\nMechanical Design Engineer\n\n12 month contract\n\nBased in Stevenage\n\nOffering £50ph Inside IR35\n\nDisclaimer:\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource Managers Limited, Advanced Resource Managers IT Limited or Advanced Resource Managers Engineering Limited ("ARM").
