Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks)

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Cheddar area who are actively looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks) on a permanent basis.



What you will be doing:



Producing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, layout and general arrangement drawings

Development of a 3D library for standard items

Liaison with clients on design details

Quality control and checking of manufactured designsWhat you will need to succeed:



Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering (or equivalent)

Excellent IT skills including SolidWorks and AutoCAD

A good eye for detail and the ability to solve problems

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individualsWhat you will receive in return:
