With significant recent investment in the business, this is the perfect time to contribute to exciting projects from concept to completion.\n\nAs a Mechanical Design Engineer you will:\n\nUse advanced CAD tools to develop 3D models and detailed drawings for powertrain components and assemblies, including some surfacing work.\nEnsure product designs meet performance, reliability, and safety standards for both manufacturing and end-users.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer specifications and drive product development.\nConduct engineering calculations and analyse technical data to solve problems and support product innovation.\nParticipate in design reviews and provide technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders.\nThe Mechanical Design Engineer will bring: \n\nA degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, combined with experience in product design or development.\nProficiency in designing mechanical parts and systems, with a focus on powertrain, drivetrain, or hydraulics.\nExpertise in using 3D CAD software (NX, Creo and/or Catia) to create detailed models and drawings.\nStrong understanding of GD&T principles and the ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis.\nExcellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.\nIn this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of powertrain systems, pushing the boundaries of engineering innovation to create products that set new standards in performance and reliability.
