Job Title – Mechanical Engineer
Location/Site – League City, TX
Duration: 6 months - contract to hire

Position Summary
This role supports the design and development of lithium-ion battery systems used in portable energy storage products. The engineer will work across the product lifecycle from initial concept through prototype, testing, analysis and production release.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical design and detailed CAD modeling for battery system components and assemblies.
Develop concepts and take designs through to production, including documentation for manufacturing.
Conduct component testing and support system-level validation activities.
Perform analysis as required (thermal analysis and CFD) to inform design decisions and thermal management strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, test, manufacturing) to ensure product readiness.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline (must be degreed).
Direct experience with lithium-ion battery systems or energy storage product development.
Proficiency with SolidWorks or PTC Creo (Pro/ENGINEER).
Experience with component testing and analysis, including thermal and CFD work.
Ability to work onsite full-time; no remote/hybrid option.
