With a friendly and collaborative team culture, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, Mechanical Design Engineer to join a business where your contribution will genuinely make a difference.\n\nAs part of their continued growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the successful delivery of customer projects from concept through to completion.\n\nThe Role\n\nThis is a varied and hands-on position that offers the opportunity to be involved throughout the full project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:\n\nCreating detailed 3D CAD models using Autodesk Inventor, alongside 2D drawings in AutoCAD\n\t\nAssisting with the planning and coordination of engineering projects from sales order through to commissioning\n\t\nWorking closely with customers to understand their requirements and develop tailored engineering solutions\n\t\nProducing technical drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation\n\t\nContributing to the continuous improvement of machinery, products, and manufacturing processes\n\t\nProviding technical support and advice relating to consumable products\n\nAbout You\n\nWere looking for someone who is:\n\nExperienced within a mechanical engineering or design engineering environment\n\t\nAble to create detailed 3D CAD models using Autodesk Inventor, alongside 2D drawings in AutoCAD\n\t\nComfortable working within a close-knit team where collaboration is key\n\t\nHighly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities\n\t\nConfident communicating with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels\n\t\nPractical, solutions-focused, and enjoys overcoming engineering challenges\n\t\nPassionate about delivering high-quality work and seeing projects through from design to completion\n\nIf this opportunity sounds like a great fit for you, reach out to us today to find out more!\n\nAt polkadotfrog, we are dedicated to ensuring both client and candidate satisfaction.
