Responsibilities:
\n
This role is responsible for the design and documentation of products and projects. Designs must be developed and managed to maintain an effective balance across three key areas:
\n
- \n
- Performance: Ensure all technical, quality, and regulatory standards are met
- Schedule: Deliver projects within established timelines
- Cost: Adhere to defined budget requirements
\n

\n
\n
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
\n
\n
Schedule/Shift Details: First Shift, 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday
\n

- Overtime as needed.
\n
\n
\n
Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine design
- At least 2 years of experience using SolidWorks
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machine design and manufacturing processes
- Ability to apply established mechanical engineering principles and standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and/or pneumatics
- Willingness to travel on a limited, as-needed basis
