BJ166 - Mechanical Design Engineer\nLocation: Gloucester\nSalary: £50,000 - £70,000 Per Annum\nWorking Hours: Monday - Friday \n\nOverview:\n\nFirst Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding HVAC clients within Gloucestershire in their search for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer\n\nThis role involves designing and engineering smoke ventilation systems in compliance with the latest fire safety and building regulations\n\nThis role is ideal for an engineer with strong experience in ventilation system design, who is comfortable working on multiple projects and collaborating closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDesign HVAC and ventilation systems in line with project specifications, building regulations, and relevant standards\nProduce detailed mechanical design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation\nCarry out airflow calculations, duct sizing, equipment selection, and system layouts\nCoordinate designs with other disciplines, including electrical, architectural, and structural teams\nSupport projects through all design stages, including concept, detailed design, and construction\nRespond to technical queries and provide design support during installation\nEnsure designs are compliant with current legislation, industry standards, and best practices\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\nProven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the HVAC industry\nStrong background in ventilation system design (residential and/or commercial)\nGood working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. Building Regulations, BS, CIBSE guidelines)\nExperience using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar HVAC design tools\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines\nStrong communication and coordination skills\n\nBJ166 - Mechanical Design Engineer\nLocation: Gloucester\nSalary: £50,000 - £70,000 Per Annum\nWorking Hours: Monday - Friday
