Location: Glasgow (Flexible Working)

Rate: Up to £40 per hour DOE

The Role

\n

Our client, a well-established building services consultancy based in Glasgow, is looking to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis.

\n

You'll be working on the design and delivery of a range of commercial building projects, supporting schemes from concept through to detailed design as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Produce mechanical building services designs for commercial projects.

\n

• Design mechanical systems including HVAC, heating, ventilation and cooling.

\n

• Prepare technical calculations, specifications and design documentation.

\n

• Work closely with the wider design team to deliver projects on programme.

\n

• Liaise with clients, architects and other design disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.

\n

Requirements

\n

\n
• Previous experience working within a UK building services consultancy.

\n

• Proficiency in IES or similar building services design software.

\n

• Experience designing mechanical building services for commercial developments.

\n

• Good understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards.

\n

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

\n
