Mechanical Design Engineer\n\nLondon (Office-Based)\nCirca £50,000 + Benefits\nFull-Time | Permanent\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of a growing Building Service company seeking a capable and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their London-based team.\n\nThis is a mid-level position suited to someone with a proven track record in mechanical design who is looking to work on technically engaging projects within a collaborative office environment.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions from concept through to production. The role requires strong practical engineering knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nProducing detailed mechanical designs and engineering drawings\nDeveloping concepts into manufacturable solutions\nSupporting prototyping, testing, and product development activities\nWorking collaboratively with engineering and project teams\nEnsuring designs meet technical, quality, and compliance standards\n\nRequirements\n\nTo be considered for this role, applicants must have:\n\nDemonstrable commercial experience in mechanical design engineering\nA strong portfolio or track record of completed engineering projects\nProficiency with CAD software and engineering drawing standards\nPractical understanding of manufacturing and production processes\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\n\nImportant\n\nPlease do not apply if:\n\nYou do not have genuine mechanical design engineering experience\nYou are unable to reliably commute to the London office on a regular basis\nThis is an office-based role and attendance on-site is essential.\n\nSalary & Package\n\nCirca £50,000 depending on experience\nPermanent opportunity\nSupportive engineering environment\nLong-term development potential\nIf you have any questions, please dont hesitate in contacting Harry Severn
