Our office is currently partnered with a leading company in Bethlehem, PA in their search for a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Salary: $90,000-110,000
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Location: Bethlehem, PA

Responsibilities:

• Perform design calculations and create detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks.
• Translate customer and industry specifications into final designs.
• Develop and maintain part and assembly libraries, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Support quoting and design for valve components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to improve design efficiency and product performance.
• Maintain data within the Syteline ERP system and participate in testing and evaluation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Proficient in SolidWorks (PDM ) and familiar with manufacturing processes (casting, machining, welding).
• Knowledge of ASME codes for valves, piping, or pressure vessels .
• Strong understanding of material properties and component selection (force, torque, pressure).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
