We’re seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing engineering to support an aftermarket repair and overhaul shop. This isn’t a pure design role—it’s hands-on, supporting technicians, improving processes, and helping keep critical aerospace components in top condition.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.

• Apply engineering principles to products such as engines, instruments, controls, and machines.

• Support fabrication, operation, repair, and installation of mechanical products.

• Work closely with technicians during repair and overhaul processes, providing real-time support.

• Create and revise repair instructions, documentation, and tooling.

• Improve process efficiency and help scope work to reduce repair time.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, repair, and overhaul.

• Strong proficiency with 3D modeling tools (NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Bonus points for: VBA coding, test software, project management tools (Jira, Smartsheets, SAP), Lean Six Sigma, Scrum, or Agile.

• Solid knowledge of engineering practices and procedures.

• Comfortable working under set guidelines while staying adaptable to fast-paced changes.
