Mechanical Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Dorset to join this leading product development company.



Joining a growing and exciting R&D team, they are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to undertake the full product design cycle across as well as existing product design across their advanced bespoke digital products.



Hybrid working available - 3/2 WFH split; you will need to be based locally.



Key skills and experience required for Mechanical Design Engineer, based in Dorset:



Qualified to a degree level in a related discipline

Significant experience of the full design process from concept to manufacture

Experienced in conceptual design and detailed implementation

Knowledge of working with sheet metal, plastic moulding, solid components and packaging (enclosure, cabinets etc)

Relevant CAD package experience, SolidWorks desirable
