Job Description
Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Project Engineer required to join a world-leading HVAC Solutions provider.
The Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Project Engineer will be responsible for the full design scope taking works from tender review, equipment selection to final sign-off of HVAC products including mechanical ventilation, fire and smoke dampers, control panels and smoke extract fans for residential and commercial projects.
The Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Project Engineer should possess smoke control industry design knowledge. Those coming from an M&E Building Services design focused background will be considered.

Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Project Engineer role:
- \n
- Delivering full project design scope of HVAC products including mechanical ventilation, fire and smoke dampers, control panels and smoke extract fans for residential and commercial projects
- Supporting projects team to ensure timely and effective design input for a multitude of ongoing works
- Undertaking selection process of fans, smoke ventilation and more
- Working closely with in-house departments to develop overall design understanding
- Able to travel to the office in Birmingham

Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Project Engineer requirements:
- \n
- Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Technical Engineer from the smoke control industry or background in M&E Building Services design.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems and design principles
- Ability to liaise with M&E Contractors, M&E Contractors and clients
- Technical expertise of schematics, fan selection and regulatory compliance
- Able to travel to the office near Birmingham
