Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.  Entry level as well as candidates in retirement are welcomed to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
• Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
• Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
• Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
• Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
• Proficient with CAD or other related software
• Deadline and detail-oriented
