TRIbuild Solutions are working with a well-established M&E contractor based in Thurrock, delivering high-quality building services solutions across residential and commercial sectors. Due to sustained project growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and play a key role in upcoming developments.



About the Role:



As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design of mechanical building services systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, etc.) for a variety of residential and commercial projects. Working closely with our in-house delivery teams and external consultants, you'll ensure designs are compliant, cost-effective, and meet client specifications.



Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and develop detailed mechanical design drawings and specifications



Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and site teams



Attend project and design meetings as required



Conduct site surveys and inspections



Ensure compliance with current building regulations and industry standards



Support procurement and delivery teams with technical guidance



Requirements:



Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical building services design



Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent ()



Strong understanding of M&E coordination



Experience working on both residential and commercial projects



Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Hevacomp, IES)



Strong communication and problem-solving skills



Able to work independently and manage multiple projects
