Were seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and analysis of sheet metal and structural components. This role focuses on supporting product development efforts using SolidWorks, with a strong emphasis on FEA and structural integrity. If you're a creative problem-solver with a background in mechanical design and analysis, this opportunity offers exposure to complex assemblies and end-to-end product engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D models and mechanical drawings using SolidWorks for new product designs and improvements.
- Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and basic structural analysis to validate mechanical components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine sheet metal designs for manufacturability and performance.
- Support prototype development, testing, and engineering change processes.
- Maintain technical documentation, BOMs, and revision control throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- BSME , or equivalent experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical modeling and drafting.
- Experience with FEA tools and understanding of structural mechanics.
- Background in designing sheet metal parts and assemblies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Solid communication skills to present design concepts and results to internal teams.
