Mechanical Design Engineer

Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers!



Blueprint Recruitment are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join an international engineering design consultancy on a long-term contract basis.



As the successful candidate you will have the opportunity to work on a mixture of exciting CAT A Commercial fit-out projects and will ideally have experience working on similar projects.



-Hourly rate from £40-£44 (depending on experience).



-Hybrid working arrangement (3 days a week in the London office).



Key Responsibilities:



-Developing detailed mechanical design drawings.



-Supporting concept and mechanical feasibility studies.



-Conducting design calculations and simulations where required.



-Collaborating with clients and internal teams to define project requirements.



-Managing design documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards.



-Engaging in design reviews and problem-solving discussions with a cross-functional team.



What we are looking for:



Essential:



-A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.



-Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering.



-Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.



-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.



-A proactive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for design innovation.



Desirable:



-Chartered or working towards Chartership (IET or similar)
