Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a well-established leading manufacturer of products for the Power and Oil & Gas markets, who are based in the Brownhills, Walsall area. The successful candidate will be responsible design and development of a range of products such as pipework, heat exchanger and jigs fabrication.



Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview



Carrying out design and development of products in accordance with industry regulations

Conducting design calculations and simulations for structural integrity

Performing stress analysis and selecting materials

Ensuring designs are compliant with health and safety, and environmental regulations



Mechanical Design Engineer Job Requirements



Degree qualified within an Engineering related subject

Proven background in Mechanical Design, ideally heat exchangers, pipework, fabrications or pressure vessels

Experience with stress analysis, FEA experience is desirable

Based in a commutable distance of Brownhills

Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Starting salary £45,000 - £50,000
