Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Cincinnati, OH. In this role, you will play a key part in the design, analysis, and development of gas turbine engine components including airfoils, rotating parts, and structural elements. Key Responsibilities

·& & & & & & & & Design and analyze gas turbine engine components such as airfoils, rotating parts, and structural assemblies.

·& & & & & & & & Modify or develop component designs to meet specifications, performance criteria, and manufacturability requirements.

·& & & & & & & & Utilize NX for 3D modeling and ANSYS (Classic or Workbench) for engineering analysis.

·& & & & & & & & Integrate system-level requirements into component designs and ensure alignment with overall project goals.

·& & & & & & & & Prepare and support design reviews, generating comprehensive reports, procedures, and proposals.

·& & & & & & & & Assess new materials, designs, and manufacturing methods for performance and feasibility.

·& & & & & & & & Investigate component non-conformances and provide technical disposition recommendations.

·& & & & & & & & Work closely with internal and external engineering teams to ensure alignment and quality throughout the design process.

Required Qualifications

·& & & & & & & & Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

·& & & & & & & & Minimum of 1 year of experience in gas turbine or turbomachinery component design.

·& & & & & & & & Proficient in Siemens NX and ANSYS (or equivalent modeling/analysis tools).

·& & & & & & & & Strong understanding of technical drawings and Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing (GD T).

·& & & & & & & & Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·& & & & & & & & Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
