Martarano Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team. MEI is a rapidly growing firm looking for professionals excited to expand their career in mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design.

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Mechanical Engineering program
• Experience designing HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

License/Certification:

• Engineer In Training (Preferred)
• Professional Engineer (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Calculate heating and cooling loads for building systems -
• Survey existing mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems -
• Design air distribution and exhaust systems -
• Select and layout mechanical equipment -
• Calculate and design domestic water, sanitary and gas piping system and equipment. -
• Prepare job specific specifications - Prepare permit and construction documents -
• Meeting clients' project goals and objections -
• Responsible for business development and pursuing new clients and projects
