You will be responsible for the design of special purpose machinery and should have a strong experience with Solidworks. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be expected to have a background in mechanical engineering and have a good understanding of fabrication and machining processes. You must be able to work on your own initiative and be able to work in a team.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

• A minimum of three years experience in a similar role.
• A good understanding of product design processes.
• A sound knowledge of engineering principles.
• The ability to interpret customer requirements.
• Good problem solving skills.
• A working knowledge of Solidworks.
• The ability to create accurate 3D models.
• Experience of working with special purpose machinery.
