Mechanical Design & Development Engineer

Salary to $100K DOE

Tucson, AZ

Hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer needed to support product development from concept through production in a precision manufacturing environment. This role is ~50% lab/cleanroom-based—ideal for engineers who like building, testing, and solving real-world problems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop precision mechanical components and assemblies
• Own projects from concept through release to production
• Create 3D models/drawings in SolidWorks (GD&T)
• Build, assemble, and troubleshoot prototypes
• Support testing, validation, and design iteration
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, program management, and vendors

What You Bring

• BS Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 2+ years of mechanical design/product development experience
• Strong SolidWorks skills
• Hands-on build/prototype experience required
• Comfortable working in lab/cleanroom environments

Compensation
$80K–$100K base (DOE)
