Mechanical Day Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider- Commercial Building – Green Park, London - £48,000\n\nCBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to cover a commercial building located in Green Park, London. The successful candidate will be qualified mechanically and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site (Team of 4) He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following.
In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of £48,000, further training and career progression.\n\n Hours of Work & Package Information\n\n4 on 4 off, 6 on 4 off 4 on 6 off - 07:00 am to 19:00 pm\n£48,000 per annum\nLots of overtime available\n20 Days holiday \nPrivate healthcare\nUniform and Tools Provided\nCycle to work scheme\nOvertime Available\nA lot of progression available\nAnnual pay review \nKey Duties & Responsibilities\n\nMonitor mechanical plant\nPumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings\nAir Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)\nWater Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)\nPlumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc\nMonitor the BMS systems\nBasic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)\nGeneral building fabric\nEscort specialist sub contractors\nUndertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.\nBe proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.\nBe proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.\nMaintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.\nReport service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.\nRemain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.\nBe fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.\nEscort specialist subcontractors\nRequirements\n\nMechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ etc) minimum\nYou must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)\nA proven track record in commercial building maintenance\nMulti-skilled\nGood communication skills\nExcellent customer skills \nMust be able to get to site for 07:00am startPlease send your CV today to Alex Denton of CBW Staffing Solutions to avoid missing out on this role
