Mechanical Contracts Manager – Commercial & Industrial Projects\n Midlands (projects across the region)\n Up to £65,000 + car / allowance + benefits\n Family-run Mechanical Contractor with a long-standing reputation\n\nElitehire Solutions are representing a well-established, family-run Mechanical Building Services Contractor who’ve built an excellent name over the years for quality workmanship, reliability, and long-term client relationships.\n\nThey work across the commercial and industrial sectors, delivering everything from plantroom upgrades to large-scale mechanical installations — always with a hands-on, personal approach that sets them apart.\n\nThey’re now looking for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to join the team and take the lead on multiple projects from start to finish. You’ll be involved in everything from pre-construction planning to client handover, managing engineers, subcontractors and suppliers along the way.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\n * \n\n Running mechanical projects typically ranging from £250k–£2m\n\n * \n\n Managing labour, materials and subcontractor performance\n\n * \n\n Leading progress meetings and maintaining strong client relationships\n\n * \n\n Ensuring jobs are delivered safely, on time and to spec\n\n * \n\n Providing technical and commercial input during tender/design stages\n\n * \n\n Working closely with electrical teams on full M&E packages\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager (or Project Manager)\n\n * \n\n Solid background in commercial or industrial building services\n\n * \n\n Good working knowledge of HVAC, pipework and plantroom systems\n\n * \n\n Strong communication and organisational skills\n\n * \n\n Someone who values teamwork, pride in delivery, and a no-nonsense attitude\n\nWhat’s on offer:\n\n * \n\n Salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience)\n\n * \n\n Company car or allowance\n\n * \n\n Pension, holidays and a long-term secure role\n\n * \n\n Supportive, family-run culture with autonomy and trust\n\nIf you’re a Mechanical Contracts Manager who prefers working for a genuine, family-run business that still values people, quality and doing things properly — this one’s worth a chat.\n\n To find out more, reach out to Elitehire Solutions for a confidential discussion
