We’re recruiting for a new Mechanical Contracts Engineer for a specialist Data Centre Construction / Critical Infrastructure Construction Design and Build Engineering company based in London.\n\nSalary to 65K -plus benefits package. 40 Hours per week. Exceptional Career opportunity with an interesting specialist M&E Design and Build / Advisory Contractor.\n\nOur client build and operate state-of-the art Data Centres particularly in Central London.\n\nYour responsibilities will include;\n\n * Oversee resources.\n\n * Maximize performance.\n\n * Ensure contractor management.\n\n * Ensure subcontractor competence.\n\n * Ensure timely close-out.\n\n * Track budget.\n\n * Submit reports.\n\n * Report progress.\n\n * Maintain client relationships.\n\nMain Duties\n\n * Solid management skills.\n\n * Analyze design documents.\n\n * Review schematics.\n\n * Complete technical submittals.\n\n * Analyze supplier info.\n\n * Manage program updates.\n\n * Maintain site diary.\n\n * Review quality.\n\n * Manage contract works.\n\n * Manage defects close-out.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Appropriate Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.\n\n * SMSTS/IOSH Managing Safely.\n\n * Relevant CSCS card.\n\n * Organizational and analytical skills.\n\n * Experience with Document Management Systems.\n\n * Excellent communication skills.\n\n * Experience in Building Services/Data Centre projects
