Futures are working with a well renowned industry leading manufacture, located near Wakefield in West Yorkshire, who is looking to appoint a mechanical buyer. Mechanical Buyer - Role and Responsibilities:



* Responsible for leading cost purchase of materials and components

* Managing stock control to ensure all material is available at all times for the production teams

* Represent the department in meetings as required

* Develop and maintain supplier and internal relationship



Mechanical Buyer - Knowledge, Skills and Experience:



* Experience buying mechanical components for a manufacturer

* Prior experience working closely with R&D teams

* Experience purchasing parts from suppliers in the far east

* MRP/ERP experience
