Mechanical Builder – Conveyor Systems

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Builder to support the assembly, installation, and integration of conveyor systems, automation equipment, and industrial material handling solutions. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience building mechanical assemblies, working from blueprints, and supporting equipment used in manufacturing, production, and automated assembly environments.

The Mechanical Builder will assemble and install conveyors, frames, guards, brackets, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, rollers, belting, and related mechanical components. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, performing mechanical assembly, aligning conveyor sections, installing drive components, troubleshooting fit-up issues, and supporting final equipment testing. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment and collaborating with engineering, controls, and installation teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience with conveyor installation, machine building, industrial automation, material handling equipment, pneumatics, fabrication, mechanical troubleshooting, and equipment commissioning. Experience in manufacturing, warehouse automation, automotive, aerospace, packaging, or assembly line environments is highly valuable.

Key Qualifications

Experience with mechanical assembly, conveyor systems, and industrial equipment installation
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools
Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, bearings, rollers, belts, and drive systems
Experience with machine building, automation equipment, or material handling systems
Ability to perform mechanical troubleshooting and resolve assembly issues
Comfortable working in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments
