Job Advert: Mechanical Assembly Technician\n Location: Leamington Spa\n Contract Type: Temp to Perm\n Salary:  £30,000 to £33,000 per annum \n Recruitable Staffing Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Technician on behalf of our client, a leading UK-based manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company renowned for its engineering expertise and innovation, with over 40 years of industry experience. \n Role Overview\n As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you’ll play a key role in assembling, modifying, and fitting mechanical components and systems.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. \n Key Responsibilities \nAssemble mechanical systems and components according to engineering drawings and specifications. \nFollow detailed assembly instructions and processes to maintain product quality.

\nInspect and test assemblies to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards. \nIdentify and report any issues or discrepancies during the assembly process. \nCarry out troubleshooting, rework, and repair tasks when required.

\nMaintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. \nAdhere to all safety regulations and company policies; participate in safety training and audits. \nDocument assembly procedures and update records as needed.

\nSuggest improvements and corrective actions for continuous process optimisation. Key Competencies and Experience Essential: \nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. \nHands-on experience in at least one of the following: \nMechanical assembly \nTroubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems \nWorking with diesel engines or transmissions \nExcellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

\nEffective communication and teamwork skills. \nExperience with standard measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Desirable: \nCertification for operating cherry pickers and forklifts.

\nFamiliarity with Occupational Health and Safety practices. \nExperience working to quality and production standards. Please note: Sponsorship and relocation support are not available for this role.
