Connect Appointments is recruiting Mechanical Assembly Operators to join the UK's leading manufacturer of specialist temperature-controlled and bespoke commercial vehicles, based at their Dunfermline facility.

Our client is a long-established, family-owned business with over 65 years of engineering excellence and a strong reputation for quality and innovation across the commercial vehicle industry.

What's on offer?

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm - early finish on Fridays
  • Up to 41,500 per annum - dependent on experience
  • Overtime and bonuses available
  • 33 days holiday per year

As a Mechanical Assembly Operator, your duties will include:

  • Assembling mechanical components to engineering specifications using hand and power tools
  • Performing quality checks throughout the assembly process and resolving build issues
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings accurately
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve build flow
  • Maintaining accurate build records and a clean, safe work environment

To be considered as a Mechanical Assembly Operator, you will need:

  • Experience in mechanical assembly or coachbuilding
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
  • A team-focused approach with good problem-solving skills
  • Basic IT skills for job tracking
