We're hiring many Mechanical Assemblers to join our dynamic team in Garland, TX. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packing according to specifications. Perform all assignments within acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.
  • Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
  • Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
  • Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
  • Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
  • Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
  • Exhibit teamwork in all you do, maintaining a positive and team-based attitude. Support peers in time of high demand by working hours assigned and overtime as required; also comply with scheduled start/stop times and break periods for the facility.
  • Ability to confidently communicate, interact and build customer relationships supporting company’s culture.
  • Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
  • Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Able to build panels from start to finish (measure, drill, tap, layout)
  • Familiar working with breakers, relays, contactors, transformers, lights, SPDs and other electronic components.
  • Knowledgeable with wiring industrial control panels (UL508A experience )

Work Schedule

  • First Shift: 6:30AM to 3:00PM, Monday to Friday
