Mechanical Assembler

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team. We seek candidates who are mechanically-inclined and have experience with assembly work. This job will require the use of hand/power tools to assemble industrial equipment components.

Available Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M – TH)

Other Shift Options Include:

• 4:00 AM - 2:30 PM (M-TH)
• 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (M-TH)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of hand, power tools or equipment.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Complete mechanical assemblies independently or as part of a team
• Safely operates any equipment needed to perform job within the assembly.
• Utilize production job schedules, and confer with supervisors/leads, to determine work priorities.
• Refer to engineering documentation such as CAD drawings and manufacturing procedures.
• Record production data such labor time and quantities using ERP system.
• Inform supervisors /leads of equipment malfunctions that need to be addressed.
• Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and work stations on a daily basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:

• High school education or equivalent and one year related assembly experience.
• Works with limited supervision to assemble units of moderate complexity.
• Must be able to identify and select components to be integrated into assembly units.
