Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Location: Richmond, IL
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Monday - Friday
 

Summary:

Growing metal manufacturing company seeking Mechanical Assemblers and Industrial Painters to join our production team. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that involves repetitive tasks, exposure to dirt and metal debris, and standing for extended periods.

Cross-training is required, as employees may be asked to assist in multiple departments based on production needs.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and assembly drawings
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist in other production departments as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Must be willing to cross-train and work in multiple departments
